Skyblock and mcmmo are on a test IP for fixing and balancing, they were not working as we would like them too and as such they are being fixed, surge is only one person and he has limits so you do have to wait. As for the glitches/ missing kits they will be fixed as soon as possible but as I said, surge is only one person so please just be patient.
Yep we need to hire another coder. That would make a big impact on the amount of time it takes for issues to be repaired. But who?
Tarik, that's not entirely accurate. "Your job is to ensure things are stable, up to date, and secure." Once a week, a developer should do the following: Test the current builds of Bungee and Spigot; check for security updates to plugins, Spigot, and Bungee; check the merged timings to see which servers and plugins need tweaked; ensure servers are running and are connectable; tweak server configurations to ensure the game is playable to its fullest; apply OS and installed software security updates; maintain firewall updates. A developer should also be reachable by both serge and yonda should any state change for the negative. A developer doesn't need Serge to hold their hand to do any of that. Please note that I'm bastardizing the meaning of developer, since the public tends to understand their role differently. This is more the role of a systems admin, which is what Squadcraft needs, not a developer.
Surge also does the developers job as we can't find a good full time one who doesn't end of abusing or being an ass. And he isn't afk only ingame lol. He is working pretty much 24/7 through console etc.
I was speaking specifically about The time on kitpvp, When denialMC was working on kitpvp and surge ended up going afk for 9 hours then came back the next day and did it again, And denialMC did abuse so im glad surge does it all now.
How you get new coders and backend admins that will work and won't screw you over: Take resumés, verify references and experience. You know, like real world jobs.
