I guess this is an apology- smeagolz

I'm creating this thread because I wanted to apologize for what happened a few weeks ago, involving me and a few other players I donated for. The only reason I haven't done this sooner is because I hadn't actually found out why this had happened. Curse the banks for drawing everything out. If you don't want to read how it happened, skip to the apology, which is in bold.

Now, I cannot remember the exact time, but it was a random night, just after my parents had won the lottery. I was in an excellent mood, so I decided that (without my parents permission, a stupid idiotic choice that I now regret) to buy some people some ranks. I did this with a few people, including urtoast, FadilyCraft, mightymouse, Eth0ss, TheApprentice, and a lot of others. On most occasions I just got the next rank up for them, and this was going fine. I logged off that night and nothing was wrong.

I was busy for a couple of days, and so couldn't get on the server, not realizing that people were getting ip banned for charge backing. I went on the server and forums, finding a sort of animosity towards me. This confused me, since I had no idea what had happened.

I saw a few threads that said they were ip banned for charge backing, and that this was wrong. I had a slight suspicion then, but ignored it as I decided that it was probably nothing. It was only when Yonda put up his file on the 'blacklisted for mod' thread that I discovered what had happened. Feeling awful, I asked my parents about this.

It turns out that they discovered what I had done, called PayPal and gotten them to withdraw all payments. I tried to argue against this, but I couldn't do anything about it. Luckily, Yonda or surge (not sure which) made a statement and could keep the money. In turn, the bank had blocked the card I used due to (suspicious activity). I tried for a fortnight to get it unblocked, but couldn't. Long story short, I lost the card, gained had a truckload of guilt, and lost the respect of a lot of players on squadcraft, Yonda included.

This is the actual apology. I am sorry. I can't be any more blank then that. No fancy words will magically fix the situation I have put these people into. ROCKBOTTOM stated that I should be banned. I agree, since its entirely my fault, and charge backing is an automatic ip ban. So ban me, I have said already that I should and I say it again. I would much rather be banned than these people who I got ranks for. They deserve their unban, and their rank, because that's what I promised them. Hopefully you all get this, since none of you should have been banned in the first place. Sorry.

And finally to Yonda, if you actually read this. I'm sorry that I misplaced the thanks you gave me. It wasn't deserved.

I have absolutely no idea who you are but well said. It's good to see a genuine person who is sorry for the actions on this "thing" we call earth.

 

I think we play different servers (Factions for me, not sure about you) so that would make sense.

Apparently FadilyCraft hacked and was just a bad person in general. Also, he apparently can't read. I was in TS with him (Him and his friend just randomly joined my channel) and he was literally oblivious to the fact that he hacked or did whatever yet people had told him in the dozen threads he made. He was still trying to make a case about you chargebacking and nothing about hacking or whatever. He's just oblivious
