I honestly HATE the pots in kitpvp. Sometimes, they take a few clicks for people to actually heal from them and when I right click with them, half the time it doesn't heal me and it takes the pot away. I didn't know if this was a glitch or not but I think this part of the server would improve if you used a more mainstream approach and replaced the pots with soups.
I just hold down right click and scroll through my inventory healing myself, then I click the '1' on the side of my mouse and it takes me back to my sword.
Get a AntiCheat and AntiAutoSoup I have it on my server and it works okay (I invited a person to 1v1 me that had hacks, I did not use any form of cheat or hack to test)
