The long awaited hashtag debate begins now. An old rule - "no hashtags" was removed when the player who made it left. Surge deemed it a stupid rule and removed it. Lately a lot of people have been overusing it and this has caused many people to ask for the return of the rule. So this thread is to debate it. This will not be a formal debate with rebuttles, introductions and such. Merely state your opinion and give some evidence to defend it. I will start by stating mine. Hashtagging is part of our society. It's used online and in verbal communication everyday. It is a way of expressing an idea in only one word and attempting to make it catch on. Certain words with hastags can become trends and a huge part of pop-culture, such as #yolo. I think that hashtagging is a part of our world and we should not remove it from SquadCraft. Why go back to the 2oth century? Let's live in the moment and embrace our evolving society's bizarre quirks and ways of expression.
I feel we need it back. The spam and annoyance it creates is unbelievable. It is flooding chat left and right: http://gyazo.com/d0f6fa98841c613e4441311f9a45e486
Please don't make hashtags a rule because I think @PukingRainbowz (correct me if I'm wrong) said that if someone said something and that person likes it, they would become friends. So I vote to keep hashtags.
smart well bloozdude started that and hes a toxic player who likes to start arguments and scams people 24/7 and cannot be trusted
well if you removed hashtags, the spam would still be happening they would just be saying grantnation or whatever without it so it doesnt affect spam at all
