So the idea I have is to add a unique sword, bow, and armor. Unique basically means one of a kind. The idea is to add a kind of a memento? memorial? like an object in the game to remember the day you've donated for your rank. There are a lot of positives and some negatives. The negative would be the fact that the weapons would be more powerful then the kit weapons, and that would make pvp even more unbalanced. However the limited quantity of these things would make them very rare and valuable in game. If it gets destroyed, de-spawned, burned, or blown up in the game it's gone forever. So these unique items will slowly get lost. The items will have two more enchantment levels then their kit counterparts. The items also have a lore that shows the date, name, and rank that was purchased to create the item. For example I were to buy bedrock, it would be a. Diamond sword sharpness 8 unbreaking 7 fire aspect 5 looting 12, it would say on it, 'surgetheurge has created this unique bedrock sword by purchasing bedrock on 6/29/15' Same thing with the armor and bow. Anyway should I add this? or is this too powerful? would it hurt pvp?
This Sounds Great Surge, But i cant Play atm Please read This http://squadcraft.net/threads/proof-it-was-a-typo.15232/#post-190381
It would be great but would people who are already donors receive these as well? They won't hurt pvp too badly considering mostly everyone uses prot 6 and up.
No, it's not possible to give it to existing donors because the items have to be made when they purchase the rank.
Alright, That is good, I guess. There are so many high donors already so over 10 sharp eights would almost immediately come into play. That would somewhat unbalance it. Just wait for the next big sale upgrading to bedrock will cost a bit more than emerald now.
If a donor gets killed with that unique item would the person that killed him get the item or would the item just be lost?
Obviously it will drop like any other item. Having it despawn immediately after your death would be bad as the person who killed you would not get a reward aka something worth the time/gapples/pots it took to kill you.
Sounds good, but would everyone who purchased a rank after this was implemented get one of these? If so, these won't be unique at all.
