I will follow you once you impress me and make a good impression. Don't go around following people just expecting them to follow back, that's not how I want followers and that's not how I will follow people, and either should you.
If you unfollow me just because I didn't follow back I couldn't care less. I'd rather have 1 follower who really thought of me as a great person and thought my standards were great, than have 1000 who only wanted me to follow back. Your taking the point out of following.
