First things first, yes I have been mod in the past. I had to leave the team sadly because Tarik and FirePig were trying to make me choose between Squad and another server I am staff on, as well as their sister server. Since the two of them are no longer apart of the staff team, hopefully that will not be needed again. I resigned 20 days ago today, so I still have all my knowledge as a Moderator. I want to once again show everyone that I love the community and want to help it in every way I can. What is your Minecraft name? - My IGN is Fastened, as some of you know, a past moderator. Why do you play Minecraft? - I play Minecraft because it is a great way to socialize and meet new people. It is really cool how you can meet people from all around the world and get to understand different cultures and societies. What is your time zone? - I live in California, which is in the PST (Pacific Standard Timezone) When are you usually online? - Like I said on my last application, I have a very open schedule because of the kind of schooling I do. With my schooling I have the ability to get on at just about any time. How many hours a day can you play? How many hours do you actually play? - I can play for any length of time throughout the day, I have so much free time. I usually spend a few hours per day playing. I swear I’m not a no life. I have friends, I think. How long have you been playing SquadCraft? - I first joined SquadCraft around this time of the year in 2013. I still remember the first time I was raided, I actually ended up being great friends with the raiders and still talk to them to this day. What's your favorite memory on SquadCraft? - I can not choose a favorite memory with Squad, since I have had so many, so I will just name my top 5. When I was accepted onto the staff team, was definitely one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. My heart starts racing just thinking about it. I remember being accepted while I was in the car, and all of a sudden I was getting spammed messages from the staff chat. Jango getting me Emerald, once again Jango I can not thank you enough for this. I am still so grateful for you purchasing something for me, nobody has ever done that for me before, once again thank you. Playing with R3ZZHD, TylerBigBang, BigTea (Skarmick), and FedFart. I made such amazing memories with these guys. I remember how much I sucked up to you guys because you made a lot of YouTube videos on the server, and I was an insane fanboy. Getting my first rank, Gold. I remember getting Gold for the first time on Factions. I remember purchasing it then running up stairs to my laptop as fast as I could to use all of the new perks I donated for. Meeting all these new people, I have made many friends on SquadCraft. Whether it was Mods, ex-staff, or just players. I remember having a connection with all of you. - Hopefully I can continue to make amazing memories with all of you. Where do you spend your time at SquadCraft? - I spend most of my time on Factions, although I also play Kit PvP, Prison, and started to play SkyBlock a little bit with TheSnowGlobe when he added me to his island. I first started play Squad on Factions, which is where I met a good majority of my friends from Squad. Why do you want to be a moderator? What is your goal as a SquadCraft moderator? - I want to be a moderator of Squad because I love the community. Although some view the community as toxic, I love the community. I don’t really think the community is toxic either, I think it is just a select group of players. Other than the select players, the community is actually very nice. My goal as a SquadCraft moderator is to be a helping hand for the community. I loved helping the community in every way possible that I could before, and I would love to do it again. Ever since I started being helpful, I actually started to become a nicer and kinder person IRL. It is crazy how sometimes how in game personalities can actually affect how you are in the real world. Another goal of mine is to once again keep the chat clear of spammers, swearing, etc. As a moderator, how will you affect SquadCraft? - As a moderator, I will bring my positive attitude to Squad. I always try to keep a good attitude about things, and overall be a nice person. I still remember all of the punishments, and I will do my best at enforcing the rules. Do you want Mod just to have Mod next to your name? - Of course not, moderator is an earned status in the community. Having Mod means that you are respected, mature, and responsible. If an active rule breaker applies for the position, they likely will get denied because of their actions, they wouldn’t have earned the position due to them actively breaking rules. What happens if you are not chosen to be a moderator? - If I do not get accepted I understand completely. Second chances don’t come around very often. I have to earn back the trust of Surge, the staff team, and the server. I am sure there’s other staff prospects who have a better chance than me. I am willing to stay patient until I have earned back the trust of everyone with these permissions. What kind of skills do you have? - Like I said on my last application, I am a very patient person. I have been to several meditation camps. What those camps taught me is how to stay calm in any situation. To take a breather when things are getting out of hand, and calm down. Have you ever been banned? If so, why? - I can proudly say I have never been banned, I play minecraft the way it is supposed to be played. Nor do I threaten to DDoS players. Have you ever cheated, used hacks? If so, why? - I have hacked before in the past. I used to be in a group of friends that if you didn’t use hacks you wouldn’t stand a chance in just about anything. I am willing to screenshare any staff member to show them I am completely clean of any client. Only versions of minecraft I have that aren’t vanilla are Optifine and 5zig. It can be viewed as a positive though, because I can then detect hacks easier because I am a past user of them. How do you treat younger players? - I treat younger players like I would a younger sibling. Although their grammar and spelling isn’t 100%, some of the things they say can actually be very legitimate. I have little brothers and cousins that play minecraft, so I would just treat players of the same age range the same way I would treat them. Do you use TeamSpeak or skype? - I actively use Skype and TeamSpeak. Sadly as of late, the microphone on my headset has been bugging out. Hopefully I can get that fixed soon. List the things you've done to help the SquadCraft community and the SquadCraft server. - I have done several things to help the community and server. I have helped new players of Factions get on their feet by giving them money, items, or both. I have been a past moderator, which means I have punished people for spamming, swearing, and other chat violations. I have bought Gold rank 3 times, on different accounts. I have given many suggestions for the server, even though they all ended up getting denied (lol). I still put an effort on what I think can help the community. How many applications have you submitted before? When was the last one? - I have submitted two applications previous to this one. One was accepted, and the other was denied because I didn’t have a complete understanding of the rules, and broke one. - My last application was created on July 27th. Is there anything else you would like to say? - I would like to say that I am very grateful for whoever is reading this right now for reading it. You are what fuels me to do my best to help the community in every way I can. Do you have any experience as a staff member of any organization? (doesn't have to be Minecraft) - I used to volunteer every Tuesday at a coffee shop that donates all of their earned money to stop sex trafficking in California. Currently though, I am Moderator + on a drugs server called Hazard Craft, and Moderator on their sister server OP Jails. I used to be staff on Cody’s server Old Squad, but I resigned to that due to having an unneeded overload of stress. It was also the first server I applied for, and was accepted. I also used to be Head-Mod on my friend Brian’s server called Colour Network. That server shut down due to an abusive Admin using world edit to make 100 chunks of tnt blow up at once. I try to not be so serious at all times, I like to enjoy jokes with people. My personality is just myself. If I don’t act myself I feel like an awkward person. I completely understand. Thank you for opinion, I understand completely what you mean on it looking ridiculous. Only reason I left is because or Firepig and Tarik making me choose. I didn't want to choose it was a forced thing. If I didn't have to choose I would still be a mod right now. I don't think this is a case like you said with the "I want to resign" part, because I honestly didn't want to resign from anywhere. Once again, thank you for your opinion. Before you accuse me of something read up. I didn't choose no server. I got fired for having fun on another server that I didn't even ask for admin or mod on. It was given to me. So you can't compare our situation at all.
