FloAuction is a reliable high efficiency auction plugin that allowed players to trade valuable items without any risks. Yesterday an exploit surfaced that allowed players to bid an amount of money they don't own, and the auction creator still got that number of money. Now this exploit was in the plugin forever, it just haven't been popular till today. So basically if you auctioned off a piece of dirt, someone could bid a billion dollars that they don't have, and you would get a billion dollars for your dirt. I am making this post to dismiss rumors. I don't know why but the server is a rumor magnet. I've heard crazy stuff ranging from people being paid to come after squad to squad being hacked. So if you hear a rumor, don't ask other players to confirm or deny it, because that spreads that rumor further. Almost all the rumors are false so you can just assume future rumors are also false. As for the damage, a lot of people got billions and even trillions of money, I got on, removed auc plugin, and was deleting everyone's money whom had over 5 mil. Some people did have over 10m legit, and it really sucks to see them suffer for what the exploit did to them, but it's not possible for me to do anything about it. Skyblock could have been effected too but no one tried to do it on skyblock thankfully. mcmmo and factionsob wasn't effected that much because people were most interested in factions money. As for factions, half the players want a full reset, the other half are saying they will quit if a reset happens. I think I will copy the server, and create a reset version that will have the donation system from mcmmo. That new donation system is a lot better for the economy while still giving really amazing rewards. So people that have massive vaults, bedrock bases and tons of gear can still play on the server they spent so much time into, but people that don't really have anything can play the 'reset version' of that server. Hopefully everyone will be happy. Please post your thoughts are a reply, your feedback is valuable to me.
Skyblock is a bit too silent to learn about the exploit, like it's so peaceful there, no one even cares about the exploit there xD.
Thank you for putting that up, before I didn't know what to believe. I agree on having two servers. Maybe one day they can merge back. But hopefully this keeps people on SquadCraft and helps out the community. Will ranks transfer?
The worst we ever worry about on skyblock is if someone will ruin your wheat farm. As for the whole "factions reset dilemma", I feel as this is a very sensitive topic that should be discussed thoroughly before decisions are made. On one side, the factions world, money, and player inventories could all be reset and a new world could be made with the same spawn, shops, etc - this would definitely please the new players as they would like the fair/equal start. But on another side, people who have massive bases, millions of in-game currency, and countless numbers of OP armor & weapons (which they probably worked hard for) are most likely not too fond of this "reset". As of now, other than surge's "2 different server fix", all I can really think of is some type of vote on what should be done, creating two separate faction worlds/server would be a compromise that could sustain tranquillity within the faction players for quite a while, but I would imagine the extra costs of ANOTHER server being an issue, there is usually about 60 players on factions so if about a quarter of those players are frequent and have extraordinary items as said before, they would only log into the old world right? Well if this is true then there would only be about 15 players on it and is that really worth another server? Not to mention that most of these frequent players are mostly made up of donators. There is a lot to be said on this, the resolution surge came up with is a very good start but to be honest is not a permanent solution.As said before, I think you should start up a poll on the forums and advertise it a bit in-game so that all players have a chance to vote on what they want to happen. This would also be a good way to allow the community to feel as they actually have a say in what happens on Squad, which is actually true if you allow them to vote. @surgetheurge

Thanks surge, I figured out how to Stop Le auction Bug, But you got to it before me , Btw if you make a new factions can you add everything at Shop, I will do it for you if you need Like ice and lava buckets, It Would really help while making bases and also add fly for Mvp :3 (Just kidding) But This Is a good idea i will quit factions and start new there if you do it. Bad surge? Are you kidding me? He's right in every way, sure he could've said it in a better tone but it's the truth. We don't need negative energy on the server, and unfortunately he's full of it.
He is wrong, but that's irrelevant. I'm addressing the way ye spoke to me, soecifically calling me a cunt. I was sympathetic towards him about his entire staff team leaving at first, but now I know he deserves it. That's a bit contradictory.
