Youtube Suggestions?

So as some of you may know, I do in fact have a YouTube. I want to produce the best quality videos. Here is my current equipment:

• Turtle Beach Headset
• HP Pavillion Laptop (getting replaced in a couple of weeks)
• Logitech Mouse
• Bandicam

I need ideas for replacements, especially for a mic, mouse, and screen recorder. So...fire away.

I will definitely consider the Snowball, as I've seen it before and looks good. I might also try Fraps.

Reply to every comment
Don't swear or send hate to people in your comments or people will get a bad impression. If you get a hate comment remove it and ignore it.
Try not to upload the same thing most of the time (Yes I know I do 75% sw)

But Shadow's tips are actually really good. Don't follow what the crowd does all the time; I know many new Minecraft YouTubers do either a Singleplayer world or Hunger Games most of the time. Enter lots of tags in your videos, it's how people find them when they search. Make your titles catchy, and give detailed descriptions. Make nice-looking thumbnails, people are more likely to click something if it has a nice thumbnail and a good title. Partner up with some other YouTubers around your level and make some friends in the YouTube community. But don't sub for sub! D: And keep series going for a while, you don't want to have like 6 different series to manage at once and then end up only having, like, one episode for each xD

Also, every YouTuber will get hate. I get hate on mine a lot just because my voice sounds weird! But don't let it get to you. As long as you're doing what you want to do, hate comments really ought to have no effect. Show that you'll keep doing what you want despite what people think stinks about your channel ^_^

FUNNY SKYWARS or EPIC HG rather than Skywars or HG

I usually as a principal don't click videos with a lot of caps in their titles, because it's just stupid.

But yeah, titles like "Skywars Ep. 1" are kinda crappy, adding a title to each episode gives a cooler effect. What I do is first I list the series in the title, in lowercase too, and then caps the titles of the episode itself

Upload 720p or higher
Have nice looking channel art that will interest the viewer
Make sure to always have a positive attitude during recordings
Don't be a paulleach
If you don't feel a video was made to the best of your ability, don't upload it
Try to interact with your viewers as much as possible
Try to play original games that not much people do any more.

Just a few tips to being a successful youtuber^

 

Since I am an "Experienced Youtuber" I will give you a few tips and stuff.

What makes a good video a good video is 30% commentary and 10% quality and 60% gameplay. You should have a good computer that lets you run at least 100 fps in a skywars game, and if you get Fraps (what I use) you can record at 1920x1080p with 60 fps and you will only drop about 30 frames. The only downside to fraps is that it costs money, but its pretty easy to torrent it (see here for how-to instructions).

A good mouse is a good mouse, but its all about what you kind of gamer you are. If you like high sensitivity, precision, then get a Razer mouse (Deathadder 2013 is the best mouse in the world accoring to www.PCGamer.com) But it all depends on your gaming style. Remember its not about the sword, its about the arm that swings it.

As far as audio quality is concerned, I am getting a blue snowball soon, in the next few days and it should be good. I currently have a $20 speedlink microphone and its a complete piece of sh!t, the audio is full of static noise. If your mic does that, I recommend getting a program called audacity which lets you filter audio and get rid of a particular noise.

For commentary, Try and be interesting. Don't just talk about the game, sometimes its good to tell little anecdotes about your life and what you've done recently, just don't blab on. Make everything you say highly opinionated, so its more interesting. Instead of saying "I got a diamond sword" say "I got a diamond sword! Now all I need is a knockback axe and I will have acquired the deadly weapon duo of mass destruction!" Its ok to call players scrubs, but don't insult their skill (or lack of) because they might be your subs and might get offended. Create your own names for certain items, like Joshy666 calls his KB Axe a baseball bat. This will make your commentary more unique.

As for your gameplay, just play well. Don't play to win. Take risks. Do 360 noscopes. Remember that seeing you die is almost as entertaining as seeing you win.
