Who should be the Owner of Squadcraft?

Recently there has been a lot of controversy regarding Surge not doing what is best for the community. This poll is to find out who you, a member of the community, wish to be the Owner of your favourite Minecraft server. Carry on with Surge, or demote him and replace him with Yonda? I know me and Yonda hate each other, but I personally prefer Yonda from what I have seen of him (which means a lot considering all we do is argue and call each other pricks).

Yonda. Hands down. He's the only one that I've seen actually doing something for the server.
And yeah, I'm in the same boat as you MCS, I don't think Yonda likes me very much. :/

 

surge, its his, he pays for it to be up, and he started it. so he has a good admin, that's all yonda is, a guy doing his job, that shouldn't influence others to think he should be owner.

It was Noah's server, he left & gave the ownership to Surge, doesn't make a difference whether it is his or not.

So? It doesn't matter. We are considering whether he should let off his position for Yonda/ who is better at being an owner.

 

Noah was co-owner with Dr PlayStationNation... Surge was a regular player then a mod, admin, etc.

 

Don't kill me, I voted Surge. I know Yonda is a great guy and all, but I just cannot picture him as an Owner for some reason.

 

Look Yonda loves the server; he dedicates his time for the server. Whereas Surge barely comes on to check what's happening. It's Yonda who warns surge what's happening to the server E.G. A while back, there was a spam bot happening & only Yonda was on at that time, he mostly checks on what happening to the server. There's more than just that thus why I chose Yonda.

 

hes not better as an owner, all he is, is a really good admin, he does what his job entails what he must do, if he goes beyond that, then that's his choice, and i don't think the community really get to pick.

Alright get ready for desktops speech.

For one, @jaffacake surge happens to be working on server things while being afk, nobody seems to notice that but on the other hand he isn't putting much effort into those "server things", People need to realise that surge isn't useless, he is actually a great coder who got a bit lazy, Show the guy some respect, he could have went to college and he lost his girlfriend for this server. Now to be fair yonda has done a lot more for the server recently but I don't think he knows how to handle plugins so he would need to hire a developer.

My conclusion is that Yonda should run the server and surge should be admin and stick with the coding.

We at one point had Noah, the leech, as the owner, and Surge as the admin. Now, we have Noah, the leech, as the owner, and nobody as the admin. Surge has become Noah.

Actually, It was noahcraft before surge came, he then renamed it squadcraft, so squadcraft was started by surge.

Yonda knows probably much more than surge ever will, and he has what it takes to be the owner. In my eyes:

Joshy for Admin

Yonda for Co-Owner

Surge for Owner

 

They are just teenagers so you can't really judge them but if I had to pick one I would pick Yonda because in my humble opinion, he is more mature than Surge will ever be.

Noah was the owner and started it with his friend Ian (I think thats who he started it with) and then Noah got a message from Surge about him wanting to help Noah.

 

Surge is in his 20's lol.

Well something has to change or the inevitable is going to happen, if possible Yonda could maybe try to buy the server off surge otherwise.... You can imagine what will happen.

 

Well, as much as I don't like Yonda and as much as he doesn't like me, Squadcraft would be no where without Yonda. Yonda keeps the server running and the community together, and no one can make a argument against that. It's a fact and a primary example of this is whenever Yonda went camping and pretty much all the servers went down..... During that time period Surge didn't do jack shit, just probably collected the money from the spoiled rich kids that got bedrock * cough cough * The fact of the matter is Yonda is the thing that keeps Squad going, and I have come to appreciate the " punishment " or things he had done to me.

 

Before he " deals with it " how about you learn to spell, and also can you not be be so damn immature.

Or Yonda could just trademark "SquadCraft" and seize the sever name, then start up the new server with rank transfers. But that would be a jerk move to do to surge.
