Debate Topic #18 - Should Bedrock Enderpearl Kits Be Removed?

So I've seen a whole lot of @trabZit lately, and he's not a fun person to play with. Every single game he uses the bedrock ender pearl kit, and basically spawn kills everyone to win his games. This is annoying to everyone, and I think it should stop. I think the bedrock ender pearl kit should be removed, it gives players too much of an advange. So what do you guys/girls think?

I agree. It's not like it's a HUGE problem though, as I am mostly playing with @G0LDGUY who can't touch me.

Remove em. No end kit at all... replace the end kit with like.. a blaze kit. you get a blaze's playerhead w/ a flame bow x3 arrows.

If you kill a bedrock who Ender pearls to you, you have all the Ender pearls to yourself. They paid the money for it, so they should rightfully own it. Also, if this were to be removed, They'll start asking for refunds since their most op kit gets removed, then that could lead to them reporting Squadcraft to Mojang multiple times, suing them, rioting the chat, hacking, and DDoSing.

The Ender pearls are Op. They have an unfair advantage and you can just Ender pearl to someone's island and kill then. If a Bedrock was teaming , he could just Ender pearl to his friends island, split the Ender pearls, and kill every other player. There used to be a glitch that when you Ender pearl to someone's island, you couldn't attack anyone within 5 seconds. I think that is fair because you could prepare yourself incase someone Ender pearls to your island.




They shouldn't be removed. I believe when a bedrock Ender pearls to someone, there should be 5 seconds where the bedrock can't attack, and he can't attack the person he is trying to kill. That is my opinion on this debate.

 

That is a good opinion, what you said is true. If they could possibly make a 5 second delay of attack after enderpearling that would be fine with me, otherwise there is still way to much pay to win.

I voted no. It can be annoying to get spawn-killed, but I don't think they should be removed just because people spawn-kill with them. They paid tons of money for their kits, so it's only right that they should get an OP kit of some sort (my opinion)..it's what they choose to do with that kit that gets annoying.

 

Yeah, and besides, most of them stink at PvP, as I easily beat @G0LDGUY and @trabZit with enough health to kill @TheUntamedTNT right after (not a Bedrock though)

They should stay, because otherwise @G0LDGUY would be at -1000, and that would be cruel.

 

So the obvious problem with removing them is that bedrocks payed $500. But you have to remember that the end kit isn't the only OP kit they get, two kits with full sets of armour and a sword, the archer kit with 30 arrows, the flamebow kit with 15 arrows, and the spider and witch kit with 9 harmful potions. So you still have great kits if e pearls are removed. Also like Yum said, enderpearls are the definition of pay2win on skywars, there's no avoiding the element of surprise and a decent weapon, and even if the bedrock is losing he can e pearl away. The way I view enderpearls is a really cheap way out of pvp, and its also very lazy as well. Sure they payed $500, but removing one extremely unfair kit isn't the end of the OP world of bedrock kits.

Tbh, I'm fine with the enderpearl kit, as long as it isn't used to target.

 

i use them to pearl to people or mid. if someone is killing me i dont ussualy e pearl away

Why? Because you can't win without them? You have other OP kits, if they were removed it'd mean you'd just have to actually work for your kills.

Or how about this idea, obviously the bedrocks can't loose their biggest pay2win kit, and I hate to do this because I hate ender pearls, but what if 2 ender pearls were added to the gold archer kit, 4 to the diamond archer kit, 6 to the emerald archer kit, and the bedrocks get to keep their precious ender pearl kit. Reduces pay2win at least, but then you have the problem of everyone teleporting everywhere and skywars is ruined. I still think removing them altogether is the best idea, but there's an alternative.

Yeah a full set of chain armour and a diamond sword isn't OP at all, either is a full set of iron armour and a stone sword, oh and don't forget you get 30 arrows in your archer kit.

 

I wouldn't give a shit if gold had no kits, I don't use them.

 

E pearls are too OP already, give everyone some or don't let anyone have them is what I'm thinking.

You don't get it do you trabzit, you have other kits that give you rather large advantages, but e pearls give you WAY to much.

 

Jonny just made a great point on skywars, ender pearls may not be too OP for the $500 they paid, but they ruin the experience and enjoyment for all of us, another reason to remove them.

 

Just remove the kit and replace it with something else, get creative <3

$500 = 16 Enderpearls, worth it, but NOT for skywars.

I remember once I killed Sanadz and then I kept trolling this guy with my pearsl. Idk.... Pearls r 2 OP but I always aim to kill bedrocks for the pearls

 

Yeah most of the bedrocks are easy to kill, and the pearls are fun to mess around with afterwords, but I'd still rather not have them.

 

im sort of glad theyre getting removed cos i get targeted my loads of non donors just cos they think "oh im gonna get some pearls" and then build from the other side of the map
