I don't really want people to get banned by that , but I just want that they don't kill themselves for points. If there is a way to check if the person that's killed is killed by him/herself, then I would like to see that they lose 3 points.
I don't think it should be banable, it's just another noob thing like water blocking. I only do it when I'm falling because of blog lag because you sometimes get rollback, even though there's not much of that now, and when the player doesn't really deserve my kill haha. But I don't usually do it. It can be done with snowballs and eggs also, really since it's not a glitch, the only way to get rid of it is by removing bows and arrows, and snowballs and eggs.
They're basically stealing points from the person that killed them. I have killed people multiple times, and they just perform the bow glitch, and I didn't get any points from that kill! If these problems keep up, the only way you could get points in a Skywars game is if you win. That would be +10 score for winning and everyone else gets -1 for coming in 2nd-8th place.
It's not even a glitch Basically if you fall off or get hit off, you can tactically look down and throw a snowball and by timing the velocity of the projectile with your own rate of falling, you can let it hit you so you can kill yourself

This video explains it pretty well :3 So sometimes, when someone shoots himself/herself with a bow, it can give them rollback. Often it fails though, so people just end up killing themselves.
The "killing yourself" part isn't even what the bow glitch is...but everyone seems to be talking about the bow glitch as if that's what it is xD
What I found out from this is: As soon as you leave an object, like walk off it, you can hit yourself and you will go back up. Jumping stops this from happening, and if you get hit off, then it doesn't work. I think you can get teleported up because when you are falling so fast the game thinks you can't get hit, so when you do it thinks you must have not fallen at all, and teleports you back up. ~themoreyouknow
The argument that points are easy to get is completely invalid... It's relative to you, someone that isn't that good at skywars may finally get a kill, only for them not to get the points because someone feels like a douchebag. I get 1 kill is only 3 points, but it adds up after a while. If you kill someone fair and square, you should get the points which you are due, fullstop. It isn't a glitch, it technically isn't cheating, but it shouldn't exist.
Another way is, that if you are e.g. blocked water, you can throw snowball/egg straight up, and when it fell back, it hits you, and you get killed by yourself (works at 99% of people who do that. But I dont think it should be bannable because cmon its only 3 points?
Especially when you're waterblocked. Noone has anything to lose except you, so why not give yourself 2 consolation points?

No. It's part of the game. There's a certain method for rolling back. I personally use it for gaining points from a) lucky shots b) people with kb axes
I uses to do it when the block glitch was around but now I'm so used to doing it i do it without thinking but I'm going to try to stop now since when other people do it when i kill them i really don't like it so thats what they feel when I do it to them.

I'm really sick of chelton abusing the bow glitch, he ALWAYS does it when he's knocked off and then rude to people who ask him not to afterwords. He also bow spams people quite frequently.
I agree that you should be banned for doing it. From the perspective of a player who doesn't have a diamond rank or gold rank to help me get points. It's frustrating when someone does it after a legitimate kill. And I don't see why people do it with knock back axes too. If you're killed by one, take it like a man. It's one of the only weapons non-donators can use to easily kill donators. Otherwise we have to take you on in PVP when never ends well usually because you've all got bows and chain armor. It's not a problem for donators really, it's more just people who are new to the game and just get there kills stolen time and time again.

A ban for doing it? I mean I see diamond donators go into games, do it straight away and get two extra points. It's basically "cheating the system"
The only way is a ban I think. Because let's be honest, guys who are childish like skythe123 won't stop doing it if we say so.

It is, I agree. I know a lot of people are tired of the many donators who abuse their kits by spamming and shooting themselves to gain points, and I'm getting fed up of a few people myself. If you ever see me doing it btw, it's because I'm either knocked off by a hacker or knocked off by someone who has done it to me or people I know recently. I think it should become bannable now, it's just too annoying and so many disrespectful donators do it.
I'll post some more later. I've got like ten of them and that's only the ones happening to me directly when I kill them.

The glitch is when it tp's u back up. This isn't a glitch, its just that when u shoot an arrow downwards and you are falling, you catch up to it and get hit
