Im only giving suggestions for the questions I feel that is necessary. Why do you play Minecraft? This is pretty basic, but you should state different reasons for why you play minecraft. Give different examples based on your reasoning. You don't need to go in detail with every different aspects of minecraft, but just make sure you state general ideas, and possibly examples along with the ideas. When are you usually online? This is also another basic question. This is pretty much asking when you are online. 1) please dont lie about this, It really doesn't matter if you aren't online for the longest time but staffs justs wants a general idea of when you are online. Some best choices of how to answer these questions would be giving them a list of the times for each day Monday: Tuesday: Wednesday: Thursday: Friday: Saturday: Sunday: How many hours a day can you play? How many hours do you actually play? For this question, I think the best choice for answering this question would be restating your answer from the question above. This is a very basic question, and so you probably will just state the amount of hours you play each day. Thats fine, but you should also give different times when you will not be able to play, because of (reason). This will give staff members a general idea of when you will be online and offline How long have you been playing SquadCraft? For this question, I know some may want to lie to show that they've been playing this server for quite some time now. That is mostly irrelevant, simply because it doesn't matter that much when you started playing, but more about if you can handle becoming a staff. If you are a brand new player and feel as if you have the need to apply for staff, Just put an estimate about when you started. There really isn't a need for a lie. What's your favorite memory on SquadCraft? ~~Very easy question~~ Just state ONE example about your favorite memory. Don't just give an example and leave it. You need to add details so you can provide an image for players showing what you felt during that time. Also give some basic reasoning for why you chose this memory, and why it tops all of your other memorys! Im sure you have tons of Memory Where do you spend your time at SquadCraft? This is also a very basic question because staffs just want to know where you hang on the server. It doesn't matter where you hang out but when you get accepted, it would be nice if you could server hop once in awhile to really loosen this server with toxic/bad-behavioral players. Why do you want to be a moderator? What is your goal as a SquadCraft moderator? Okay we are at a tough question. Some of you will just give a broad answer, like to stop hackers and ddosers. Im pretty sure you know this and I know this, that that won't happen. Sure you can put that as a response but make sure you can give them a reasonable answer to how this can solve that problem. Theres another way to answer this question, You can state different things like how you can help improve the server. - Removing players who need to be - Keeping this server a friendly one - Becoming active and friendly with all players - Giving improvement suggestions to make this server Better Those are some ideas, and try to give examples about how you can do these certain things. As a moderator, how will you affect SquadCraft? Another big question. You really need to add tons of details because the things you write here don't show you are a reasonable player to accept to become squad, it will lower your chances of actually becoming one. So I suggest explaining it in depth. From the question above, you can restate your answer, give reasons to why it will help this server, and give different explanations on what you can do to make this server improve. Don't give a lame answer like, remove all hackers! Remember to give an answer that can be done! Do you want Mod just to have Mod next to your name? Simple answer with a reasonable answer. What happens if you are not chosen to be a moderator? Same with the above. What kind of skills do you have? Okay for this question the squadcraft staff members doesn't care about your skills of a minecrafter. They are looking for your character/skills/traits in REAL life. This is the part that you really want to add tons of detail to prove that you are the keystone (bio reference) to this server's succession. Just add bullet notes of your skills that you think can really benefit squadcraft and please give a reason to how you can apply those skills to squadcraft and why it will do the server some good things Have you ever been banned? If so, why? Just tell the truth Have you ever cheated, used hacks? If so, why? Just tell the truth How do you treat younger players? Questions like these, giving a fake answer that you absolutely can't follow will definitely show when you are accepted as a staff because there are children on the server. I would just state things you would do, based off of their actions and the consequences given. You can relate this to how you treat adults/teens as well. Do you use TeamSpeak or skype? Easy List the things you've done to help the SquadCraft community and the SquadCraft server. This is also another question that will show your previous efforts that helped this server out. When I mean help, your ideas that were suggested or the things you did benefited the server in ways of regaining players, money, etc. If you haven't done anything simply list the following things you plan on doing to help the server, and how you plan on doing that. How many applications have you submitted before? When was the last one? Simple Is there anything else you would like to say? Your choice Do you have any experience as a staff member of any organization? (doesn't have to be Minecraft) This is where you should talk about leadership and how you fit that role. Not saying you should say that you are the only leader here, but just state how you are a leader/role model and that your experience of a leader can help this server grow. It would be nice to state real life examples of how your leadership kicked in, and from your example if the leadership didn't happen to succeed, explain what you did after that as a leader. However if your leadership skill helped you to earn what you needed, simply give a reason to how that leadership skill helped you succeed. If you were a staff on a server, its optional to state your staff rank and server name but just give a general idea of what you did to help that server grow popular. If that server was popular, just state how you made that server better than it already is Tell us about yourself, about you, your character, personality and values. For this final question, think of this as an interview. The interviewer (staff members) probably don't know you and probably don't know half of the things you say are fake or real. But honestly its better to tell the truth. If you don't really have that much to talk about, just state one to things that are your interest/hobbies and make it detailed as the staff would like to see who you are as a person in Real life, besides on minecraft. ~~Tips From Jerry~~ 1) First off don't lie, and just show your effort of applying - Don't rush through this - Check grammatical errors - Check to see if some parts don't exactly fit in with the given question 2) Always give an example and detail for questions that really need it - How you can affect squadcraft - What did you do to help squadcraft 3) Remember, that this is your own application and by that I mean don't let the criticism/hate get to your mind - Players who don't like your mod app because of you were in the past - Remember players change and you can too! 4) If your app was denied, please don't make a big fuss about this and give complaints about why you should be a staff. - It's really annoying to staff members and it shows that you can't really handle not being able to get what you want - Also please wait the required time, because it really annoys staff that you are impatient and you will probably get denied and will have to wait even longer 5) When APPLYING always follow the format!! - Don't say things like Im a donor so i help alot and i should get mod - Or i played when noah made the server so i deserve staff This is really inconsiderate of you to waste the staff member's time to constantly decline/lock/move thread IF you guys feel its necessary to add suggestions to my suggestions, feel free to do so!
