Here are some tips to help motivate and inspire you to build!

Pick a theme for your map, so that it doesn't look like you just added random stuff together and called it a build.

First thing about map making: make each part original, don't do to much of the same building or structure and remember to add irregularities to everything you build. if its a building add some patterns and stuff because bare walls are boring
(eg: use cracked stone bricks instead of plain occasionally)...
