It has been a couple of years since I've played on this server and Minecraft. I logged in to the server expecting to work on my skyblock island, but when I logged in, I couldn't do anything on my island. Every time I tried to do any action, like open a chest or break a block, I couldn't do it with a message popping up saying "This island is protected." Plot twist, this is or i guess it used to be my island. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Do I need a mod to give me access back to my island?
Hello fellow Skyblock player! Firstly, welcome back! It's always great to see more Skyblock players, both old and new, joining our community. Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your island. I'm not sure why your island is behaving in this way, however this was a big issue which affected a lot of our Skyblock community a couple years ago. It got to the point where I created a thread dedicated to reporting this issue because there were just so many of our beloved Skyblock players who were affected (see here). The only way we were able to fix the problem for each player was for @surgetheurge to come online at the same time as the player(s) affected and investigate it there and then. Hopefully when Surge sees this you two can arrange a convenient time/day that you'll both be online in order to get this issue fixed.
