"Skywars, Choosing a map" ~le Jonneh

What: I thought I'd be cool if skywars players could choose what maps they want to play when they jump into a portal. If I player would've joined a 1/8 game, they'd get a menu that would let them select a map. If some1 else joined they'd also get that menu if that first person didn't make there decision. Whoever selected first, both players would be warped into that game as 1/8 and 2/8. This would work with up to 8 players.

Why: Some maps annoy ppl and they really don't want to be played on, and some players could gain more points if they selected the map that they really wanted to.

How it could be Improved: Adding a slotbar menu when a player would've joined a 1/8 game.

Extras: I thought's this would be a cool idea for my exact reason on "Why:" and give the chance for players to decide on what THEY want. This might also reduce players leaving at the 1 second mark. Because the player who chose the map would never leave, due to the fact that they actually WANT to play that specific map.

 

Yes PLEASE. Whenever i join a map i hate i leave it , then after a bit i get in it again then when i do /sw leave it says the dont repeat similar command so that would be awesome

PLEASE there needs to be 2 portals and. Then for the ppl who want to pick their game they have signs like Archon!

 

I disagree. It would suck for people who are trying to get their favorite map while everyone else is voting for a popular map. Also, there would only be the popular maps that get voted. So everyone will just vote for the popular maps, and we will see the others rarely. It's better off randomized.

Maybe we can make it like COD, where you can select 3 options. 2 Would be specific maps, 1 would be Randomize. if the 2 maps suck, you can click randomized and you might get a sucky map or a popular map. Who knows. Just an idea.

 

No, it's better off randomized. There was never a problem with that. Voting would be quite boring for if you join a Skywars map and you see the map you hate the most votes, that'll be a problem.
