<3 Rigged! I hope you don't take this the wrong way Caw (as in, I hope you read this and assume that I don't approve of you becoming mod), but personally, I'd like to see more from you in terms of helping other players, enforcing rules and reporting rulebreakers. However, your behaviour/general attitude on the server has been improving since I first met you.
----------------------------------------- NEW POST: 5th April 2017 If you actually do care about being a mod after claiming you don't care a fortnight after you apply then the next time you see me online you're probably gonna ask why I'm writing this on your application because you thought we were good, and to that I'm gonna say that I never agreed to us being on good terms after the way you were acting, I said 'we'll see' which doesn't mean yes or no. I'm calling it now cause I ain't playing that game. As someone who has roamed the earth for a reasonable amount of time, as a gamer, as a Minecrafter and as someone who has held a staff position both in reality and the virtual world, past and present, I have seen various recurring events/scenarios, whereby one experiences to an extent a somewhat deja vu moment; the difference being that I've learned from the past and, like various like-minded people, have no intention to reproduce said moments, which is why I'm calling the shots before you act all surprised at the realisation of my post here. Therefore, when I say I'm not playing 'that game', I'm using the term loosely. In toxic's case, he was intentionally trying to get muted for nothing, whether it was to test me, to suggest I'm being an abusive mod or because he's bored and wants to start a stupid joke to entertain himself because he had nothing better to do. That was one of the reasons I told him I'm not playing 'that game' among others, he was aware of his actions and I don't need to explain myself any further than that. Moving on, whilst you may think its alright to just apologise and act like nothing ever happened after making bold claims about my work as a mod, the state of the server, and your activity on the server, thereby causing pretty much the whole server to frown upon you, unfortunately it's not always easy for other people to accept you acting all sweet and innocent and to forget about the drama you were partially responsible for, that's just the way life is. Especially when you're challenging my position, imo I don't just suddenly become unworthy of mod after one single incident whereby I'm involved in a conflict that's started by another player, it's a collective series of events; I'm not trying to act all smug here just because I'm a mod, I'd gladly flaw anyone who wishes to challenge my position. Anyway, if you're trying to diffuse a volatile situation then trying to act all high and mighty like you're above everyone else and telling everyone to shut up doesn't make you any better then the rest of the people involved. I already explained to toxic that I'm not going to play games with him, it's not my problem that he wasn't paying any attention and as a result didn't hear me, however I don't have to repeat myself. Simple as that, the whole thing could've been avoided if he actually heard my explanation in the first place or if he didn't try start such pathetic games in the first place. Additionally, your involvement in the conflict could've been avoided if you just ignored what was going on. Even if it's impossible for you to ignore something staring at you in the face, then you could've resorted to a fail safe, turning off chat, /ignore like you mentioned; which you failed to do when all attention turned to you, etc. I said this on my profile when exira criticised you for trying to become mod, despite ironically voting yes to you becoming mod on a poll where votes can be changed, and I'll say it again, most people are capable of becoming a moderator, however imo barely anyone succeeds because they don't help other players, enforce the rules or report rulebreakers enough, or they think there's a certain limit to doing any of the above tasks before they automatically become mod by default. When it comes to fulfilling the above qualities, you've barely scratched the surface and are therefore in no position to challenge my authority. You've most likely helped friends, but when it comes to enforcing rules, you call people out when they're using language that may be inappropriate or not what you want to hear, but language that is not necessarily profanity, and as such you report stuff on the forums that isn't necessarily deemed as breaking a rule. Therefore you haven't technically enforced the rules or reported rulebreakers properly, it's just been enforcing your own ideals. From my perspective, you appear to look down upon pretty much everyone and try to butter up anyone when you want stuff, including sucking up to people within a higher position than you. People are concerned that you're going to blackmail them and try to spread false and/or personal information about them when you don't get what you want whilst covering up anything you don't want other people to know about yourself. You appear to think that you know everything, yet there's lots that you don't seem to understand. Also, stop pretending that you know everything about other people, I said I don't care about what you think, just because I'm still talking to you, that doesn't mean that I care, other than taking the time to flaw your logic and argument (even though all I said was 'that's nice' and 'still idc' which prompted you to try and pretend you know more than you actually do about me), I couldn't care less about what negative comments you have to say to or about me. Understand yourself and change your own attitude before trying to understand other people. Also, if you're somehow going to try and flaw someone else with your own logic (how on earth that is supposed to work, I have no idea), at least try and have it make sense, otherwise it's just meaningless and has no value in your argument. If you're going to try and become mod, challenging and being rude to an existing moderator isn't the best way to go about getting it. The current staff are the ones looking at you to assess whether you're capable of being mod and most likely will be making the final decision on whether you get the rank or not. As a mod, you're going to be responsible for working in a team of other people. If you're going to start being rude to them, they aren't going to consider you for the position because they'll decide that you won't be able to do your job properly. Personally, you haven't done anything to convince me that you should become a moderator. If you no longer care, then so be it, I shall just use this thread as a medium for contacting you and for getting my points across. If you do care after apparently quitting, then great work for turning a mod against you, have fun trying to clean up your mess. Oh, and the next time you decide to question my position, remember this. I was given the rank by Surge on the recommendation of another mod, I didn't ask to become mod, nor did I apply for it because I didn't really want it at this present time. I was waiting for the right time to apply, and that time wasn't now. Therefore I have been working as a mod voluntarily, I've accepted the fact that I got the rank and have been fulfilling duties which were given to me. Therefore, I shouldn't have to do what you think I should or shouldn't do. I don't care if you quit because you attracted unwanted attention, nor should I have to help you after you've been rude to me. I've been completing my work as a moderator whilst working within the server's expectations and rules. If there's anything you don't understand in this thread then you can figure them out by yourself, look it up or something cause I can't be bothered to explain everything to you, you can't have everything served to you on a silver plate when you want it. Whilst you may still think it's acceptable to look down upon me, just remember who is now in the higher position, and who has more authority and who as a mod applicant you're trying to appeal to. Now, before you try acting surprised when you see me online next know this: I'm not going to play that game either.
No, it is the fact you read too little. Don't worry, you can worship me whatever your reading ability is.

So, you've made some sort of deal with Surge to try and get mod because your app faces resistance huh? I knew you still cared about getting mod even though you don't deserve it at all, you're so predictable. Before you jump to conclusions, yes, I saw your whole conversation with Surge, the reason being that having social spy on all the time is a requirement for moderators. Proof: Source: http://squadcraft.net/threads/punishment-chart-for-moderators.6761/ Even if I didn't see your 'deal' with Surge to try advertising the server in return for mod, it was obvious. It was easy to connect the dots today when you asked how I got mod (which you apparently already knew, will cover this later in the post) today. Anyway, just because you're trying to advertise the server doesn't mean that you're mod worthy at all. That's not moderating, it's marketing and advertising, which has nothing to do with what a moderator would be doing on the server itself. You haven't changed at all since my previous posts and as such you still fail to fulfil the main requirements of a moderator. Speaking of the requirements I mentioned earlier, your failure to comply with them makes you somewhat a hypocrite. I refer to events which took place earlier today, where a couple of trolls came online who I was busy dealing with. You decide during this that you need help and try approaching me for help despite you knowing full well that I'm busy dealing with other people at the time, and even acknowleging this. Just because I'm a moderator doesn't mean I can be everywhere to help everyone at the same time, therefore if you see that I'm already busy with something else, then how about learning to be patient rather than make it out like you're the victim. Oh, and stop being cocky, if you're trying to get my help, trash talking me with pathetic excuses like 'it's not always about you' isn't the best way to get me to help you. The role of a moderator is voluntary, I don't gain anything that you would consider to be worth volunteering my time for, I don't have to help you if you're being rude and impatient. You can't have everything you want when you want it, now stop acting like a spoilt brat who complains whenever he doesn't get what he wants. I've helped you way more than you have to me, whilst I may not need your help I don't ever recall you offering to help. The fact that you treat me so poorly after I've helped you on several occasions is just plain selfish. Another thing, it's obvious that you're copying me with my recent projects because you can't come up with any original ideas. I make an automated cocoa bean farm, you make an automated cocoa bean farm, I make an automatic melon farm, you make an automatic melon farm etc. Whilst I'm usually happy that people are taking inspiration from my island, the fact that you seem to be doing the exact same thing as me, when I'm doing it, and constantly ask me for the materials to build your watered down versions of my projects is just annoying. You know what I'm working on and decide to copy me, stop being lazy. Oh, and if you're copying something from me, in pretty much the same way, how about actually taking the initiative to look up how to build it or just observe my designs rather than constantly bothering me to check if you're doing it the exact same way. Picture the scene, earlier today you approach me and ask me to explain to you how I got mod because you know I told you before but you don't quite get it. I provide you with a simple answer, I earned it. What did I do to get mod? Whatever was required of me. So after you try interrogating me further, you claim that you knew all of it already and that it wasn't the answer you were looking for. Seriously? If you knew what the answer was already then don't bother me just to waste my time with a question you already knew the answer to and therefore didn't need to ask in the first place. Mods aren't your servants that you can call upon and send away as you will. Also, if you don't get the answer you were looking for, tough. You asked a question and you got your answer. If you didn't get the answer you were looking for then maybe you should have been more specific. Asking a general question like how I got mod could have given you various answers. It was when you said that people can become mod in different ways like making a deal to become mod that was the give away since you've made multiple references to your overly ambitious plan that made it obvious that you wanted mod again and that becoming mod was included in the terms of your deal with Surge. On a professional server, new mods are either recruited via application or sought out by existing staff. You certainly aren't the first person who's trying to resort to advertising a server. Besides, how much were you actually going to do for your publicity stunt? A couple of videos on YouTube? When were you going to tell Surge that you've completed your end of the deal and therefore deserve mod? As soon as one person joins the server? When it comes to advertising, helping people or reporting rulebreakers, there ain't a set goal you have to reach before you can stop unless it's been outlined in the terms of the deal or in the requirements for mod, and from what I've seen there definitely ain't a limit for how many times you've helped people or reported someone. One more thing, if someone's talking in a public chat, they don't have to have a specific person with whom to converse with, it may well be a general announcement. Therefore when you ask me who I'm talking to, it may not be to anyone in particular. I may well be using chat to keep notes of something I'm working on in which case I may not be talking to someone else. I said it before and I'll say it again, you have done nothing to convince me, an existing mod, that you are worthy of mod. All you do is suck up to people when you want something, complain when you don't get the VIP service that you expect from everyone and attempt to exert your barely existent authority upon anyone whom you see fit. you fail to gain the appeal of those who you should be appealing to, both staff and player alike. Oh, and before you come on next acting all surprised because you weren't expecting me to express my disapproval about you being appointed as moderator, I'm not playing that game.
Based off your actions earlier Caw, you made it seem like you've already read my previous posts and are trying to improve your behaviour to try and get mod without giving away the fact that you read my comments, in which case great job for making it so obvious *claps sarcastically*. If you're trying to make me change my mind about you being mod, you're gonna have to do way better than that. I ain't the kinda person to be easily influenced, once I start keeping tabs on a person, it takes a lot for me to stop.
