Its probably too late to fix the damage because of this but its worth a try. While most experienced Squadcraft players know that claiming an area to make your base is stupid unless you dont want it to be hidden. However many new players do not know that, and know with the /ftp command, every tom, dick and harry can effectively teleport to the outskirts of your base and raid it. This is bullshit and makes it incredibly unfair on new players who do know this. While /rtp was a good move as it allowed people to find a good spot to build a base without having to do /spawn command all the time, the /ftp has effectively ruined the game for new players.
I agree with you but it most likely won't be removed. What about compromising with a day or 2 cooldown?
Both altogether. A player with a IG farm can afford to spam the /ftp button and raid loads of people. The delay would decrease the problem but wont remove it altogether. I mean look at the state of factions two. Every i use the /ftp command, it teleports me to a crater that was once someones base. Aspiring mc newbies who join the game are put off by the fact that they got raided within maybe an hour of making a base.
factions has barely any people and it makes it difficult to even raid with gods that have bedrock and all that stuff but a delay would be better then a removal but still don't know
maybe that's why people can have 3 homes. 1 for igfarm, 1 for a vault, 1 for a raid. that's how I use it.
The Reason its on there is becuase its very hard to find bases now that only about 2-4 people are on the subservers, taking this away is basicly saying "Hey! i got a great idea!Lets remove raiding from factions!"
Taking the time to find base is part of the game son. Otherwise whats the point of claiming faction land? It was a bad idea to begin with, and im sure a lot of new players left because there previously hard-to-find base was raided within an hour of it being made. Also there are up to 15-20 people on the sub servers at peak hours but thats moving away from the problem. People were able to raid before the /ftp command and they can still raid even if it is removed. If you cant find bases then you just suck. Simple. They are not that tricky to find and you can do it without mods or hacks.
M8 don't call me your son and its squadcraft,taking time to find a base takes about 3'hours without hacks to find something with a set of emerald or higher only about 4 people play at a time and most of the bases are unraidable 15-20 people my ass more like 15-20 people afk on the sub server
It is plain stupid to claim land. It is just an invitation to blow it up, particularly when stacks of TNT are so readily available to many players. I personally get a kick out of searching for unclaimed bases. It is quite easy to find them. All you need is patience, which many players lack.
