Basilbac's Ban Appeal

Why do I think I got banned: Though I am not completely certain as to the reason behind the ban, I believe it may be because of the hideous events following my resignation.

What does it say when you try to join? You are banned from this server! Reason: The Ban Hammer has spoken!

Ban length? Unknown. However, I suspect it may be permanent due to the fact that there is no date of a possible unban left with the ban.

Anything else you would like to say? I do not understand why this ban would occur at such a time. If it happened at the original time of the debacle, I would've at least partially understood. However, the fact that it happened somewhere between days to weeks later puzzles me. I would at least appreciate a reason as to why I was banned, and for one simple question to be answered. If my ban appeal got denied, and I were to buy an unban token, would I be permitted to continue regular gameplay, or would it simply result in a second ban?

He needs his ban to be lifted.. He is a great friendly player to this community and he was banned for no reason at all.. Just by someone getting all pissed about the recent changes.. He is my best friend and I want to see him back on this server!

1. Why is Maxxy banned exactly? (from either your perspective or his)
2. Am I responsible for what Maxxy says/does?
3. Is that fair?
4. Should Maxxy even be banned?
5. How exactly is it fair that someone else gets banned who I was friends with, and as a result, I get banned. Maxxy had a lot of friends, including yourself. Are you saying you should be banned?

Yeah kinda sucks, I don't really care anymore. All I ever really did on the server was play kitpvp and hang with y'all. Surge doesn't like me, so there's no chance I'm getting unbanned unless some sorcery went down.

Surge said when you tried to resign, you tried to persuade others to resign too. Which is, kind of a dush move.

But still, if I was owner, I would've given you like a 1week ban, then your free. But banning you forever is a little too far. So I say let him have his unban ;A;

Okay, I don't want to start a fight about this and I appreciate your opinion. However, I didn't try to persuade other to resign. Let me take this into view from my perspective. I'll give you each person and an explanation:

• Maxxy - For weeks, I had been holding him back from resigning. I was, or so I believe, the only thing anchoring him to the server still. I got him to stay because we were really close friends (and still are for that matter) and we wanted to be staff together. However, when I told him that I was resigning, I asked if he would like to resign with me as I was holding him back. He said yes.

• TcWxFUSIONS - We had been talking for a bit, and decided that time and everything was not in our favor. Joey hardly played due to csgo, work, etc etc. I was resigning, I felt he should know so I informed him, and he decided of his own will to resign.

• Smeags - I didn't want to leave the server with an empty moderator space taken up with nothing. Smeags was unable to play for the foreseeable future due to the breaking of his computer, so I approached him and asked him if he would like to resign. I wasn't trying to persuade him, just trying to see what he thought.

• Vsteel - He was completely separate from me. He was planning to resign on the next day. I simply asked if he would like to be included in my thread, and he said yes.

I hope this clears the field for you, and shows that while I may have taken a step too far in insulting Surge, I never meant to persuade mods to leave the server.

To the 2nd person who said no, whoever you are, would you mind giving a reason, even just in pm if you don't want your name revealed publicly?

uhh pro tip, if you want to get unbanned don't lie in your ban appeal. I think the only reason you got positive votes on the poll is because you lied in your ban appeal.
