Ah wtf all the people are going to be firing their fireworks and making their loud noise and shit. I hate 4th of July.
Well I'm in America so today is the 3rd.. For all of you who have it the fourth, happy fourth of july to you then xP.
Mexico. No we aren't the crappy paisa, drug-dealing, rat Mexicans you think of when you hear 'Mexican'. We're very educated
Lol quit using patriotism as a rationalization. Obviously it's an excuse for people to be drinking and whatnot. Now if you don't agree with that, explain to me how, , the rate of accidents increase during holidays like , 4th of July.
Because there are multiple types of people including: The responsible happy Americans who celebrate the 4th of July The stupid Americans (stupid people exist in all countries) who use the 4th of July as an excuse to be stupid. They're the ones causing accidents
xD Look I'll be honest here. Us Mexicans have been given a bad self image due to what the majority of Mexicans do. Yes I mean this. Where I live, there are tons of these people referred to as paisas. Theost annoying little shits ever. They blast their music loud af, perform the stupidest maneuvers when driving, and generally have bad manners. Not only that, they have like an average of 4-6 kids, I'm not even lying. I'm personally embarrased by my own race. In 2013, there was this case about a kid named Gabriel who was being abused. Some of you may have heard of this. His teacher felt bad for him, but all she could do was call Child Protective Services. Social workers visited Gabriel's home and talked to his parents for months. He later died. Bad thing is CPS didn't do shit. The 2 supervisors and 2 other employees in charge of his case were fired, and parents arrested. People are seeking a death penalty (not sure of the status of the case today). A politician (can't remember his name) is fighting to have CPS audited, because many kids have died because of their negligence. Yes, rules here can suck because some politicians prefer stupid rules over lives. Oh, and surprise, Gabriel's parents were, yes *drumroll*, Mexican! Today, I watch the news, and most of the thieves and burglars? Mexican. Police chases. Who emerges out of the suspect's car? A Mexican. Now I know there are some good seeds spread throughout the Mexican population, but you guys have to look at the majority. It's really sad. And the worst part is that rules in the US don't even do much about it. CPS often takes kids, who are suspected (not actually) of being abused. These kids are usually removed from their parents faster than the kids who actually need help. In comparison, CPS takes a long-ass time to attend to them, and usually, by the time something is done, the kid is already dead. Ay, people :/ Nice try, but never was referring to your country. Ergo, that's why I said, "here in...". I'm pretty sure places like Canada, UK, and Australia don't have as much crime or havoc.
Yes. Oh what a coincidence! Mexico's right under us! Could that explain the heavy population of Mexicans here!?!
You lost a dog, and I'm sorry. But you don't live in a place where you're constantly reminded of how sad your own race is.
No I am not being yelled at for my race? Also, you're not going crazy you're getting bored. If your mom scream at you but doesn't hit you, why care at all? Also there is something called 'help'. You know those things you get when you open a game, and it says instructions? Yea, those things. Kinda like that. Also, I thought you didn't want to argue? Finally, it's spelled Smart Alec*
My dumb ass falls into the second category. I fill everything up with firecrackers and blow it to smithereens. I also make smoke bombs and stuff like that to play around with. I might be a pyro
You know what an Australian kiss is? It's like a french kiss, but down under ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) My mom screams at me for scolding the cat, like bruh...
She yells at me for no reason as well though... Once when she was drunk she scarred my face by trying to claw my eyes out tf
What, you're scared of a human vocalization? Just imagine it as a cow mooing or something and it becomes funny.
When did I say I'd be scared? I'd care because it's not normal and I'd wish to be the son of a normal mom
My parents are educated. No they aren't alcoholics or druggies and shit. One time my dad tried a little bit of wine and he was laughing for no reason xD. Still tho, for your mom @Lostvayne just let the alcohol pass its course. Doesn't sound like it's much of a problem anyway You'd eventually get used to it lel
And you could make the same argument about a terrorist threat. "What, those ol' TSA agents reacting to a lil ol human vocalization?" Considering your parents, it's hard for you to argue that it's something that shouldn't make much of a difference on your life. It's a lot harder than it sounds, to be raised by parents who scream all the time
Course there is a difference between your mom and military. If your mom was yelling all the tome, at first it wouldn't be normal. Of course not saying it should be normal in anyway, but eventually you'd get used to it. In the watch for terrorism, not sure you'd be able to get used to it. Even if there was some old guy who yelled " BINGO" 24/7 in their sights they couldn't let it go as something minor because someone else could be yelling "DETONATE". If it's in your home with your mom, you're not watching for terrorism sooo I'm able to cos the people who live around me do lol. I hear the kids screaming all the time and the moms screaming and Spanish cuss words and whatnot soo
Yeah. You know what screaming sounds like. But you don't know first hand what being constantly screamed at by your own parents is like.
I said they're educated. Doesn't mean they don't scream sometimes. Say they're getting mad or want to chastise. Yes Yum, we Latinos know.
What I'm saying is the kid will eventually get used to it. Of course, under certain circumstances. If the parent screamed for no reason, but there was no abuse, the kid will adjust to it, and screaming will become irrelevant. However. If there is abuse, then I've no word to say. Assuming, (assuming <------) Sam wasn't abused, the screaming wouldn't be anything to worry about. I don't want to dig too deep into his personal life though.
Screaming does affect children. Even without physical interaction, it can scar a kid for life which is terrible
True. However, if that were true, shouldn't kids in normal circumstances be traumatized as well? Or kids living in places of war. They hear bombs all the time. Compare it to a kid who's in a normal environment except for the mom who screams alot.
1) Exactly, not a big deal. You said it yourself. 2) You decide things?!? Yes sir! Hup! 3) Call me a smart alec, but most people will look confused when you argue with them and say 'smart elick'
"Happy Canada Day!" "Happy 4th of July" They're both bad... Just cause one's worse doesn't mean we have to compare
I don't mind the 4th of July, especially when I actually go out to see the fire works with everybody else, California is noice.
