Looking for Developers?

Hello, my name is Zach, as you can probably tell from the title, I am a developer looking for a job.
I know that every kid who drags a .jar into the plugins folder calls themselves a dev, and I know
that everyone who can write a little code to open a prompt calls themselves a programmer. I am a dev,
I am experienced with Java and the Bukkit API, I have written many plugins for many servers.

P.S. This message is for staff only, this is just a question, the portfolio and all that jazz is me proving myself to be legit, and I know, it needs more detail, but like I said this is NOT an application, simply a question. So to anyone that says "Needs more detail", I will hack this website and add a dislike button just so I can dislike your post, so please, restrain yourselves <3

We already have a dev I don't think we need another one.

 

Few things
A) Don't tag staff
B) Don't threaten the server
Off to a great start
I do have a few worries, for example you have a lot of plugins that say in dev meaning you wouldn't have a lot of time to work on SC because you'd also be working on the others.

Word gets around.. Don't under estimate mods, that's how I came across this thread.

lol, it was a joke in ATTEMPT to stop people from stating the obvious, apparently it failed. :/
Also, I tagged Yonda because I was told to, unaware that it was against the rules.
And the plugins I have In-Dev are ones I am creating for my own enjoyment, anything I am asked by my boss to work on always comes first. You just can't see those ones because I am not permitted to distribute them publicly.

Well,tagging staff is a 50/50 rule in my opinion,so he didn't know.

 

Maybe make it so you can tag staff if justified?

Well for my opinion on the bad side is that if we already got a dev. I don't see why we need another, it would be nice to have another one but if we have one already and is doing fine, what's the point of another dev.?

Well take a look at every large scale network ever. They all have multiple devs. This speeds up production of mini-games and updates. In my opinion, multiple devs is important in making your server stand out and be unique.
So think about how fast updates are coming out on Squadcraft, for every new dev, that speed will increase drastically.

 

But for that you have to be a good dev like @breezeyboy O:::::::::::::: get rekt

 

Well how much do you charge?

 

Depends on the plugin, but mostly I'm in it for the experience and to get my name out there. If I am assigned a really large task that consumes a lot of my time, then I may charge for it. And please don't think "Ohh, he's not charging, he must be a noob." No, I truly am in so I can get my name out there and expand my skills as a developer.

 

Ducks must have gone under a giant evolutionary leap to harden.

 

I saw a goose hardened once, but never a duck, geese are more abundant anyways since I'm Canadian.

I'm not trying to be rude/annoying when I ask this, but does anyone know when I'll hear from Surge?

 

JS you keep saying can i hear from a admin or owner but the admin rekt you so you ask for surge but you don't even realise our main rules like DONT TAG STAFF and that mods can deny these apps
