I remember a while ago I asked for /fly in game for skywars mods to catch hackers and I was told no because "we would abuse it"

If bedrocks @trabZit @DerpPlayzMC could fly, no one would win a skywars game ever again.

 

They basically can with enderpearls but not derpplaysmc anymore

Yum is referring to Bedrock players on Factions. Where they have /fly.

Skywars bedrock's will never have /fly.

It's so tempting to fly away from a fight but I don't it's just the bedrocks that don't wanna die and have someone get their head and his pride would get hurt.

 

If I was a mod I wouldn't accept this and ask you to try for more proof, I'm no factions expert, but in the picture he's facing you, he could have just as well been flying to you to start combat, and there's no proof you were ever in combat with him. A video would be a lot better for reporting stuff like this. Again I don't play factions and I don't know a lot about it, sorry if I'm just a complete idiot.

 

The thing is, wouldn't flying to someone to start fighting them also be abuse?

usually when they're flying above you. They're either in combat with you or flying to try and catch up to you and thats not allowed

It sure could, but then why let bedrocks fly? I know you already mentioned it was ridiculous to let them have that permission but I'm just saying.

Notice you said usually, that's why I wouldn't accept this because there's no real solid proof. But thanks for clearing that up.

 

It's a stupid idea to let them fly honestly :L Even with combat tagging. There is so much room for abuse the way I see it
