About the Ranger thing, Surge was misinformed. He didn't know Ranger hadn't waited two months so his response was essentially "why should I care? Anyone can apply for mod". I asked Surge about giving Ranger special permission to re-apply without waiting and this was his response:

I won't address the irrelevant issues that were brought up in this thread such as religion since i don't wish to start any arguments.
I'm pretty neutral with this one i believe both sides have their own rights & wrongs. This is one of the few times where i agree with surge about having plugins to replace moderators. You guys are bringing too much emotion & personal opinion into things that frankly are plain and simple. As a moderator you should only use your 'powers' on things that actually break rules, which i have not seen EA vary from. The word "fag" or "faggot" or any other variant of it is vary controversial no matter whom you ask, to the majority of people the word is still a derogatory term therefor offensive. EA should take action on anyone who uses that word but for the reason that it is indeed against the rules not for her own opinions. Moderators have their opinions and should feel free to express them on certain things, but those opinions should never be brought up or used in any decisions whilst moderating. Jace i think you're being a hypocrite for the reason that was previously brought up by MLG, you preach (not using that in a religious way) about being a changed person and how everyone should give you a second chance so you can become a moderator yet you don't give EA a chance to change (in your perspective of her). I will say this she has gone overboard with her opinions in the past i've experienced it first-hand but i talked to her about it and she learned from it, no one is perfect. She was also the first new moderator and didn't really have anyone to train her but she was there for the community when it needed it the most. Do i think surge will demote her for this? No because i think he won't read it and i don't think he will see a reason to. (Directed towards all the current moderators) The role of the moderator is a simple one follow the rules and enforce them, There is no reason to ever bring your feeling/opinions into the mix whilst moderating.

I'm sorry, but you guys put pressure of demotion in EA for everything that she does, she locked an application without the format; still giving the reason and there's an out-rage about it, any other moderators who would've locked it would've been fine. But no, you guys have to throw shit at her for everything she does and you say she uses the term homophobic to much. As part the gay community do you know how horrid it is having someone tell you to "GTFO YOU GAY QUEER FAGGOT!" It's heart breaking and this is the reason we're so defensive and precise about the way this words shouldn't be used, it's damn right discrimination. I'm not here to start an argument again, but EA is a great Moderator and I think Surge and the server, forums and more would be lost without her guidance and help.
