Ghost and Phantom

As you all know, with the recent 1.7 - 1.8 update, people can join KitPvP regardless of what version they are using.

Unfortunately, this presents many problems. A glitch occured which would randomly kick players. This was recently fixed. However, with the server allowing mixed versions, people are now exhibiting a decrease in the quality of gameplay. When KitPvP was updated, people on 1.8 were able to see ghosts via name tags. People on 1.7 are still unable to see them. This results in a loss of fairness, and lots of accusations of hacks.

With this new dilemma, the purpose of ghosts and phantoms has pretty much been destroyed. I am aiming to request the temporary removal of these two kits until the underlying cause can be attented to.

By doing so, people will no longer have to worry about people seeing them even if they were invisible. The quality of gameplay will exhibit an increase.

This is simply an idea, and some of the structural components of this request were based on my opinion. However, I do hope something can be done. Thank you for reading.

People still use phantom, it's just ghost that is basically useless. But I agree with everything else.

 

The only problem is.... People who use opPhantom all da time..

 

I suppose that Phantom still has a purpose. However like Tarik said, it is Ghost that is exhibiting the most of this problem.

Mods can use fly + god to kill the invisible hacker, get the name from chat and jail them

Agreed. OP Phantom is just a little to OP for a KitPvP server for my tastes.

 

However for people who r mods or donors, they would b upset if we took this out... It's hard cuz u need to award both people who help out, and people who play for fun.

I'm Supporter on KitPvP, and I don't use it because I don't think it's fair. People use it to get kills.

No no no. Even if people see there name tag its still hard to hit them. Have you have tried 1v1ing a ghost or phantom? It's so hard to keep track of where hey are. And plus people still sneak while using them

 

Even if you sneak while in those kits, your name tag is glaringly obvious...

Well I'm not sure about you, but I can see there name tags no matter what, except if they come up behind me.
